Marc Jacobs created Marc Jacobs International with Robert Duffy in 1984 for a love of fashion and a commitment to quality.
Was the youngest designer to receive the New Fashion Talent award granted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Influenced by all areas of culture, Jacobs was artistic director at LV brand for 16 years, from 1997 to 2013.
In February 2013, Jacobs was named the new creative director for Diet Coke. In honor of the brand’s 30th anniversary, Jacobs would spend one year slated to give the brand a “stylish and light-hearted” refresh.
Always a trailblazer, Marc Jacobs was one of the first designers only to use social media to cast models for Marc by Marc Jacobs’s Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign and, with its success, did so again for Spring/Summer 2015.
Finding the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, Marc Jacobs has become the voice of innovation in the fashion industry. The brand is also known for supporting humanitarianism and social entrepreneurship. Marc Jacobs International is committed to the community, leading by example and supporting over 75 charities and organizations worldwide.
Jacobs has collaborated with many famous artists for his MJ and LV collections, including Miley Cirus, Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami, American artist Richard Prince, and rapper Kanye West, to name a few.
Best known for daring fashion, Marc Jacobs handbags and accessories are still popular in the pre-owned market. Savvy buyers and sellers get their Marc Jacobs bags, shoes, clothing, and accessories authenticated at Real Authentication.
